Dr. Jesus L. Sojo is excited to work at the practice of Solay Dental in Oldsmar, FL, serving patients in and around the communities of Tampa, Westchase, and Palm Harbor. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in 1986 at the University of Puerto Rico before completing a tour to Germany as an officer in the United States Army. After his time in the service, he decided to choose a new direction for his career and obtained his dental degree from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 1996.
With a scholarship and commission from the United States Air Force, he completed a residency and advanced courses to further his experience in the field of dentistry, specifically oral surgery, forensics, pathology, and orofacial pain. Before moving to the Tampa area and providing dental services in endodontics, prosthodontics, and cosmetic dentistry, he worked for over a decade, offering general dentistry services to patients overseas.
During this time, he was the director of two dental practices and was responsible for staffing new dentists for the residency program. He retired from the United States Air Force as a Colonel in 2015 after 23 years of active-duty military service.
Dr. Jesus L. Sojo is fluent in English and Spanish and provides the best, top-quality care and customer service to his patients. He closely follows the same core values of service and integrity upheld by the United States Air Force, ensuring comprehensive care for his patients at Solay Dental. He is pleased to serve patients who have dental phobia, ensuring each visit is a positive experience for the patient. He is also an Invisalign provider for patients in the Tampa Bay area. When not in the office practicing dentistry, he loves to travel with his wife.
