Full dentures
With complete dentures, patients can replace all the teeth in the dental arch. This may include both the top and bottom arch or just one. Dentures are made from high-quality acrylic material and include false teeth and soft tissues. While many of our patients use denture adhesives to hold their dentures in place, others may find that the placement of dental implants along the gum line can stabilize a more conservative denture. This method is known as an “implant-retained denture” and provides better stability and function for those who need it.
Partial dentures
Alternatively, partial dentures replace one or several teeth that have been lost or extracted along the dental arch. These use a metal framework and false teeth that snap into place within the bite. The partial denture uses existing teeth for support and does not require patients to use adhesives or other means to keep the appliance in place.
